TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA) – Richard Dalton, British ambassador to Tehran on Sunday announced his country’s interest in further expansion of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in marine transportation.
Attending the joint commission held between Iran-Britain Chambers of Commerce, Dalton expressed happiness on expansion of ties in the marine transportation, as well as cultural and educational fields between the two countries.

Calling the closeness of Iranian-British attitudes in the Persian Gulf and Far East as positive, he said that Iran’s strategic position to access the Central Asia region and other Middle East countries is of paramount importance.

In conclusion, the British ambassador announced that a high-ranking economic delegation from his country would soon travel to Iran to hold talks on economic, industrial, customs, and marine industries issues."
