Fundamentalist Strategy for Presidential Race

Iran Daily: "Strategy

TOSEH: Fundamentalists claim that they have adopted a calculated strategy for winning the upcoming presidential election slated for June 17, 2005. However, it seems that their chances for winning the momentous race are very slim. The strategy of fundamentalists is that they first introduce several candidates whom they believe are more popular than others and then after a while they will reach consensus on one single candidate and ask other nominees to withdraw from the race. In the meantime, the candidates who withdraw from the race will ask their supporters to vote for the single nominee."
