Tehran Mayor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a gathering of people in Sabzevar, Khorasan on Monday that the ultimate goal of the ninth presidential election is to establish an Islamic government in which all Islamic regulations are observed.

The conservative presidential candidate said that Islam is a complete religion which has comprehensive guidelines for every aspect of life, and these guidelines lead people toward real prosperity.

Ahmadinejad criticized those who ignore the achievements of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and cited Iran’s independence in all areas, the establishment of real freedom in the country, and the creation of self-confidence in society as some of these achievements."
